Great walk

If you walk in the grounds of Belton House with or without kids its a great place to get some fresh air. Not a massive distant to walk but i think its enough. The have many open air concerts so check out there we site for more details, spitfire prom is the best.

Tower

The tower that you can see from Belton House is a good walk if you fancy really strecthing your legs and the view from the top is really impressive, think its only open for about 4 Sundays a year in September or October so you'll need to check, free entry to National Trust (NT) members

Belton House adventure playground

We have never managed to visit on a day when the house is actually open to visitors, but the adventure playground is open whenever the gardens are open, and that keeps the kids more than happy. But if you want to look round the house its worth checking the opening hours first.
