When I say 'oldie' I'm in my 30s and a definite sceptic of amusement parks. I was delighted to find that the park is centred around an old house with extraordiary gardens. I was cajoled into going and though I find the park irritating for many reasons (overpriced dreadful food, massively expensive entrance fee, far too much concrete, queues and vomit) as an amusement park goes, the gardens are a very good redeeming feature. If you HAVE to go, then this should at least cheer up those of us who find far more fun and excitement in natural beauty.Reviewed 01/03/2009 by Felicity McAlindon
